Operator Training for PREVU* Point of Care (POC) Skin Sterol Test - Procedure

The following outlines the procedure for training Operators to conduct the PREVU* POC Test on patients. It is the responsibility of all Operators of the PREVU* POC Test to be Certified with an Operator Training ID Number before testing patients with the PREVU* POC Test.

Procedure

The Operator is required to:

  1. Obtain a login and password to initiate the Operator Training process
  2. View the PREVU* POC Instructional Training Video (approximately 12 minutes)
  3. Test three volunteers on both palms, record and submit the results

PreMD Inc. shall review training results and shall consider the Operator to have successfully completed training if:

  1. the coefficient of variation (CV) between the tests conducted on two palms is less than 20% AND
  2. the mean PREVU* (POC) values for all three volunteers (6 results) is <120

After PreMD Inc. reviews the training results of the Operator and deems that the above criteria is met, an email confirming that the training process has been completed will be sent to the Operator.
