PREVU* Lab Test (LT) is an innovative new test to help identify individuals who may be at risk of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).
The PREVU* LT test is an in vitro diagnostic test for the quantification of skin cholesterol. Like serum cholesterol, elevated skin cholesterol is associated with an increased risk of coronary artery disease. Thus, skin cholesterol can be used as part of risk assessment for coronary artery disease.
PREVU* LT has been Conformité Européene(CE)-marked in Europe and has been cleared for sale in Canada.
